Recent TCAS Happenings
Our students enjoyed our annual ice skating trip on February 13. Thank you to our volunteer drivers for helping us get to and from the Toyota Arena. Matthew Enders, Technical Services Manager for the Washington State Department of Transportation, joined grades 7-10 for a bridge building competition on February 18 and 19 to celebrate National Engineers Week. And Hank Morgan of Hartford, Connecticut (aka Benji) visited King Arthur's world on March 8th in our annual drama production. Thank you to all who came out to support this year's play!
7-10 Grades at UCA Band Clinic
Nearly 100 musicians from schools in our Upper Columbia Conference and Alaska Conference met for band clinic at Upper Columbia Academy Jan. 30 - Feb. 1. TCAS was one of the largest schools in attendance, bringing 34 band members. A big heartfelt thank you to the staff and parents for chaperoning our large group. If you missed out on the performance, you can watch online here!
Thanks to everyone for supporting our Penny War. The kids had a great time and we were able to raise money for both the TCAS Mission Trip to Taiwan and Real Restoration – a Christian organization that rescues girls from human trafficking and then works to educate, heal, and restore their lives. Combined we raised $1400 so GOOD JOB EVERYONE! The 3rd & 4th Grade classroom generated the most points per student so
they will be receiving a special treat for the entire classroom after Christmas Vacation.
