Spencer Hannah - Principal
Spencer Hannah brings years of educational and administrative experience to his role as principal at
Tri-City Adventist School. Following his talent for numbers and his passion to impact lives he sought and
received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics/Education from Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University) and began teaching in 1981. In 1990, he received a MA in Educational Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
His 37 years of Seventh-day Adventist education experience has taken him to Colorado, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, and now Washington. Through the years he has been able to impact the lives of thousands of young people.
In addition to teaching and leading, Spencer has a love for mission experience. He has led or participated in 29 short term mission trips. His passion for such experiences can be captured by the following quote: "Mission trips have provided the best opportunity to change lives for Jesus Christ. Experiencing new cultures, working side by side with those from that culture, and pouring their sweat into a project that benefits others puts them in a place where the Holy Spirit can really speak to their heart!"
In his spare time Spencer enjoys playing golf and basketball as well as playing games with friends. He and his wife, Eva, have two grown children.
